Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) – Advancing Systems of Services for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (Deadline: November 14, 2017)

The purpose of this funding opportunity is to improve health and well-being for children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) and their families by increasing access to patient and family-centered care, improving the process of transitioning youth into the adult health care system, and adopting health care financing models that achieve cost savings by supporting state Title V programs and stakeholders through training and tech.

New Schools Venture Fund – Education Leadership Diversification Program Grant (Deadline: September 15, 2017)

New Schools Venture Fund is seeking to fund initiatives with ambitious ideas focused on advancing Black and Latino leadership in education. They are open to a broad range of approaches, including efforts to recruit, place, develop and retain diverse leaders in a range of education roles. While they prioritize investing in early-stage ventures (0 to 2 years of development), they will also consider investing in new initiatives at existing organizations. 

Tomberg Family Philanthropies – Grants to Improve Community Wellbeing  (Deadline: September 15, 2017)

The Tomberg Family Philanthropies support projects in the areas of education, the environment, health and poverty alleviation. The organization offers grants with the ultimate goal of helping recipients become sustainable to continue making a difference beyond the time frame of a specific project. Grants are offered to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations based in the United States and certain government entities such as public schools and universities.
