March 27, 2002 - Revised Medical Privacy Regs

Extensive (78 pages) proposed regulations for maintaining the privacy of individually identifiable medical information are published today in the Federal Register.

Comments on the proposed regs must be received by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on or before April 26.
