atp-inviteAutism Spectrum Disorders & Transitions from High School: Challenges & Opportunities

Event Agenda

The Autism Transition Project (ATP) is a two-year project to study how students with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are being prepared to transition from the public school system into adulthood, with employment or additional education in the community. The conference “Autism Spectrum Disorders & Transitions from High School: Challenges & Opportunities” showcased the work of the ATP, and specifically what has been learned from parents and school leaders about the resources and supports needed in order for students with an ASD to experience greater support and success during the transition from school to adulthood.

The full-day event focused on the strengths, challenges, and opportunities for transition planning and services – bringing together experts from the field as well as members of the community who are engaged in this issue.
