American School Health Association
Includes resolutions for many school based health programs and recommendations for school dental health programs. This was based on the 1973 proposal by the American Academy of Periodontics. The last review of programs was in 1997.

CDC National Oral Health Surveillance System
Description of the national surveillance program is contained in this site as well as links to oral health indicators such as dental visits, fluoridation status, and oral diseases. The purpose of this program is to monitor the burden of oral disease and the use of oral health systems. The main data sources are national and state based surveys.

Children’s Dental Health Project
The Children’s Dental Health Project is committed to advance policies to improve children’s access to oral health. This site contains resources on policy issues related to children’s oral health.

National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research
Part of the National Institutes of Health, NIDCR conducts research in oral diseases and craniofacial development and epidemiology. This site contains information on all of NIDCR’s research activities and current relevant news and publications.
