The Comprehensive School Safety Initiative funds rigorous research to produce practical knowledge that can improve the safety of students and schools. The initiative is carried out through partnerships between researchers, educators, and other stakeholders; including law enforcement, behavioral and mental health professionals, courts, and other justice system professionals. These studies are designed to improve understanding that can be applied to schools and school districts across the nation for years to come.

Amount: Up to $50,000,000
