"got breakfast?" Foundation - The Silent Hero Grant Program
The mission of the "got breakfast?" Foundation is to ensure that all children start the school day with a nutritious breakfast in order to learn, grow, and develop to his or her fullest potential. The Silent Hero Grant Program is designed to encourage schools and nonprofit organizations to expand the reach of underutilized child nutrition programs, including the School Breakfast Program and the Summer Nutrition Program.
Grants ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 will be awarded. Public schools, nonprofit private schools, local governments, national youth sports programs, and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations participating in the Summer Nutrition Program are eligible to apply.
Deadline: April 1, 2010
