Supplemental Services for Recently Arrived Refugees Grant

The purpose of the Supplemental Services for Recently Arrived Refugees Grant program is to provide services to arriving refugees or to a sudden and unexpected large secondary migration of refugees where communities are not sufficiently prepared in terms of linguistic or culturally appropriate services. Examples of allowable activities include: outreach services, health-related services, daycare for children, and case management.
Up to $200,000 will be awarded to around 12 applicants. Eligible applicants include public or private nonprofit agencies, and faith-based and community organizations.
