US Department of Education – Migrant Education High School Equivalency Program

The purpose of the Migrant Education High School Equivalency Program is to assist migrant and seasonal workers and members of their family obtain a General Education Diploma.  It further helps program participants find post secondary education opportunities or gain employment.

Approximately 13 grants of $473,000 will be awarded.  Eligible organizations include institutions of higher education or organizations that work with such institutions.

February 19, 2010
