US Department of Education – Indian Children Education Grant
Indian Children Education Grants will fund initiatives that demonstrate the effectiveness of services and programs aimed at improving educational opportunities and achievement of Indian students in preschool through secondary school. Priority will be given to programs that focus on preparing preschool age children for entry into kindergarten and college preparation programs for secondary school students.
Eight grants between $100,000 and $300,000 will be awarded. Eligible organizations include state and local educational agencies, Indian tribes and organizations, and federally supported elementary and secondary schools for Indian students.
Deadline: February 18, 2010
