The Arkansas Community Foundation - Giving Tree Grants (Arkansas)
The Arkansas Community Foundation is offering grants to organizations aimed at improving the health and/or nutrition of Arkansas's children. Priority will be given to proposals that focus on capacity building; advocate rethinking current approaches to childhood health and nutrition; and could result in public policy change in this emphasis area.
Grants range from $5,000 to $10,000. Any 501(c)(3) public charity, public school, government, or hospital in Arkansas is eligible to apply. Other applicants may be considered if the project has a clear charitable purpose for the public benefit.
Deadline: February 15, 2010
