Community-Police Partnership Awards

Grants will be awarded in the following two categories: Neighborhood Revitalization Awards and Special Strategy Awards. The purpose of this funding is to recognize, sustain and share the work of innovative partnerships between community groups and police to promote neighborhood safety and revitalization. Particular areas of program focus for the Special Strategy Awards include Diversity Inclusion & Integration and Gang Prevention & Youth Safety.
Ten awards in amounts varying from $15,000-30,000 will be given to select applicants. Community organizations, community development corporations, police/sheriff’s departments, community partnerships, Weed & Seed programs and other U.S. DOJ grantees are eligible to apply. Public agencies (including police departments and public schools) must apply in conjunction with at least one non-profit organization.Deadline:
