According to the Coalition, this opportunity allows for improvement in school indoor air quality and other environmental problems that are know to significantly impact children’s health, learning and behavior.  A sample letter to a governor which can be individualized for your state is included in the report.

The RAND Corporation has recently released the research brief, The Socioeconomic, Health, Safety, and Education Disparities Faced by Boys and Men of Color in California. This brief is the first multi-dimensional effort to quantify the disparities faced by African-American and Latino boys and men in California across a broad spectrum of health and social factors, and provides a disquieting outlook for their lives.
