American Psychological Foundation – Violence Prevention and Intervention Grant

Through the Violence Prevention and Intervention Grant program, the American Psychological Foundation is seeking to fund programs that apply psychological approaches to understanding and preventing violence among youth. In particular this grant seeks to support the implementation of innovative community programs aimed at violence prevention.

Up to $20,000 will be awarded to selected applicants. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or educational institutions or affiliated with such organizations. The American Psychological Foundation encourages proposals from individuals who represent diversity in race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, and sexual orientation.

Deadline: June 1, 2009
