Verizon Foundation -- Grants for Nonprofits

The Verizon Foundation supports projects by nonprofit organizations that focus on education, literacy, domestic violence prevention, or technology for healthcare and healthcare accessibility.

Award amounts vary; average amounts are $5,000-$10,000. Eligible applicants are public or private elementary and secondary schools that are registered with the National Center for Education Statistics or eligible tax-exempt organizations in certain 501(c)(3) subsections as defined by the Internal Revenue Service.

Deadline: November 30, 2007
