U.S. Department of Health and Human Services -- State Partnership Grant Program to Improve Minority Health

The Department of Health and Human Services is accepting applications for its State Partnership Grant Program to Improve Minority Health. The purpose of the program is to support projects run by state and territorial offices of minority health that improve minority health and eliminate health disparities in the areas of asthma, CVD/heart disease and stroke, adult immunization, infant mortality, mental health, and obesity/overweight.

Award amounts range from $75,000 to $125,000 for each of three 12-month budget periods. Eligible applicants must be an established state or territorial office of minority health.

Deadline: July 11, 2007
