US Department of Agriculture - Peoples Garden School Pilot Program
The purpose of the Peoples Garden School Pilot Program is to develop and run community gardens at high-poverty schools, and to teach youths involved in the gardens about agriculture production practices, diet, and nutrition.
One million is available for one award. Public or private nonprofit community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, government organizations, colleges and universities, “end hunger” organizations, and gardening, horticultural and agricultural organizations are eligible to apply.
