U.S. Environmental Protection Agency -- Healthful Homes/Healthful Schools Grants
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is accepting applications for its Healthful Homes/Healthful Schools Grants program. The purpose of the program is to support projects that work to reduce environmental triggers for asthma in children at their homes/schools through avenues such as education about environmental tobacco smoke or exhaust from school buses. Awards amounts will vary; applicants must submit budgets between $30,000 - $55,000. Eligible applicants include, but are not limited to, for-profit and nonprofit organizations, public or private institutions, and units of state government.
