U.S. Department of Agriculture -- Human Nutrition and Obesity

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for its Human Nutrition and Obesity Grant program. The purpose of this program is to support initiatives that address the complex problem of obesity by studying the behavioral and environmental factors that influence obesity and the development and evaluation of effective interventions to prevent obesity.

Grants of up to $1,500,000 will be awarded. Eligible applicants include federal agencies, national laboratories, research institutions and organizations, private organizations or corporations.
