Tribal Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention Programs

The purpose of this funding is to support Tribes, Tribal Organizations and Migrant Programs for child abuse prevention programs and activities that are consistent with the goals outlined by Title II of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act. The funds should support strengthening family life and reaching out to include fathers. Examples of programs that may be funded include: respite care, parenting education, family resource centers, marriage education, and other family support services.

Three awards of $138,000 will be made available. Eligibility is limited to Tribes, Tribal organizations, and Migrant Programs.
