The Women Helping Others Foundation -- Grants for Grassroots Charities Serving Women and Children

The Women Helping Others Foundation is accepting applications for its grant program to support grass-roots charities serving the overlooked needs of women and children. The Foundation’s priority areas are health, education, and social services. The Foundation recognizes the value of new programs created to respond to changing needs and will consider funding projects of an original or pioneering nature within an existing organization.

Award amounts vary. Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) non-profit status that have been incorporated for at least three years prior to applying, have a total organization budget of $3 million or less, have government funding total of less than 30% of income, have United Way funding less than 30% of income, and have salaries/wages and benefits not more than 50% of budget.
