Kids Consortium - The Dara J. Kaufman Fund Service Learning Grants (New England)
The Dara J. Kaufman Fund is proud to offer several grants for service-learning projects that strive to solve problems and improve communities throughout New England. This program is intended to encourage young people to take action to make their schools and communities caring, supportive, and environmentally sustainable places.
Grants will be awarded up to $250. Eligible applicants include K-12 classrooms, after-school programs, and community-based programs that wish to use service-learning in order to solve a problem and improve their community. Funded projects must focus on specific themes identified at each grade level.
Deadline: 10/23/09
