Tony Hawk Foundation – Supporting Youth and Public Skateparks Grant
The Tony Hawk Foundation promotes high-quality, public skateparks in low-income areas throughout the U.S. The Foundation is currently accepting applications for skatepark projects that are: 1) designed by qualified and experienced skatepark contractors; 2) include local skaters in the design process; 3) are in low-income areas; and 4) can demonstrate strong grassroots commitment to the project.
Eligible applicants include public charities, organized under Section 501(c)(3) and qualified under Section 170(B)(1)(A), or a state or local agency, including public school systems or public projects. The minimum awarded grant amount is $1,000 and the maximum grant amount is $25,000.
Deadline: March 2, 2009
