Department of Health and Human Services – Street Outreach Program Grants
The purpose of the Street Outreach Program is to assist runaway, homeless, and street youth in making healthy decisions concerning where they live and how they behave.  Services must be delivered in the youth’s environment and address the immediate needs of the youth including shelter, food, and clothing.  Programs must be tailored to the diverse experiences of the youth, including sensitivity to gender and sexuality.

$8.5 million is available for 85 grants of up to $200,000.  Nonprofits and public agencies are eligible to apply.
