U.S. Department of Health and Human Services -- State or Tribal Youth Suicide Prevention Grants

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is accepting applications for its State or Tribal Youth Suicide Prevention Grants program. The purpose of the program is to support statewide or tribal youth suicide prevention and early intervention strategies through public-private collaborations among youth-serving entities.

Award amounts are up to $500,000. Eligible applicants include states (including federal districts and territories); federally recognized Indian tribes, tribal organizations, or urban Indian organizations; and public or private nonprofit organizations designated by a state or tribal entity to develop the suicide prevention and early intervention strategy.


Deadline: April 22, 2008
