Youth Service America - State Farm Good Neighbor Service-Learning Grant
Youth Service America, a leader in the youth service and volunteer movement, is offering the State Farm Good Neighbor Service-Learning Grants to support projects that culminate on Global Youth Service Day, April 23-25, 2010. Service-learning is a teaching and learning strategy that integrates meaningful community service with academic study and reflective practice to enrich learning, build civic engagement, and strengthen communities.
Applicants can apply for up to $1,000 in funding for youth-led projects. Youth and school and community educators across the United States and Canada are eligible to apply.
Deadline: November 9, 2009
