Sponsor: New York State Health Foundation
Submitted: 12/2/2011 10:36:00 AM
The New York State Health Foundation (NYSHealth) works to improve the health of New York State residents. Most of the foundation’s grant making is focused on three priority areas, expanding health insurance coverage, improving the management and prevention of diabetes and encouraging the integration of substance use and mental health services, however, NYSHealth is accepting applications for Special Projects outside of these focus areas.
Selected Grants are typically around $250,000. Eligible applicants include nonprofit and for-profit organizations with a significant presence in New York State. Applicant organizations must show that proposed projects further the charitable mission of the NYSHealth.
Deadline: April 27, 2012
Please note: The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) does not administer this funding opportunity.
