National AIDS Fund -- Southern REACH Initiative (Selected States)
The National AIDS Fund, with support from the Ford Foundation and the Elton John AIDS Foundation, has announced the second year of the Southern REACH (Regional Expansion of Access and Capacity to Address HIV/AIDS) initiative. This initiative will provide grant resources in three categories: 1) Organizational Capacity Building; 2) Programmatic Capacity Building; and 3) Policy Advocacy. Applicant organizations must have a demonstrated competency for designing and providing high quality, effective HIV/AIDS prevention and/or care services or must demonstrate capacity for leading policy advocacy activities.
Twenty to thirty grants will be awarded, ranging from $20,000 - $75,000, to community based organizations in Alabama, Arkansas, Northern Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Applicant organizations must be private, non-profit 501(c)3 organizations.
