Soccer for Success Social Innovation Fund Sub-Grant

The Social Innovation Fund (SIF) Sub-Grants will support the replication of Soccer for Success, the U.S Soccer Foundation’s free after school youth development soccer program designed to combat childhood obesity and promote healthy lifestyles for children in low-income urban communities. Previous grant winners include United for DC, Illinois Youth Soccer, and the Houston Parks and Recreation Department.

Grant awards will range from $100,000 to $300,000 based on the number of children served and applicant’s ability to provide matching funds. Nonprofit organizations serving economically disadvantaged youth in grades K-8 are eligible to apply.

Deadline: December 22, 2011
