Heineman Foundation -- Seed Money for Start-Up Projects
The Heineman Foundation is accepting applications for its seed money for start-up projects. The purpose of the seed money is to support the development of programs related to the Foundation’s areas of interest: workforce support for economically challenged women; environmental research to improve water quality; music appreciation in education and culture; research into prevention, education, and treatment of childhood illnesses; and programs that enable youth to think, create, and communicate effectively.
Award amounts are about $20,000-$50,000 per year for 3-5 years. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
Deadline: September 1, 2008
