American Psychiatric Foundation  – School Mental Health Education Grants

The American Psychiatric Foundation administers the Typical or Troubled?TM School Mental Health Education Grant Program to provide funding to implement the Typical or Troubled?TM School Mental Health educational model nationwide. This is an educational program that is designed for school personnel to raise their awareness of mental disorders in teens and identify the difference between typical and troubled behavior and mental health problems.

Five or more schools will be funded to implement the Typical or Troubled?TM program with a grant in the amount of $2,500. Two to four high schools will be funded to implement the Typical or Troubled?TM program with a grant amount of $1,500. Eligible applicants include community organizations, high schools and school districts.

Deadline: March 30, 2009
