Texas Department of State Health Services - School-Based Health Center Funding (Texas)
The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) School Health Program is accepting applications for Federal Fiscal Year 2010 Title V Maternal and Child Health Block Grant Funding. DSHS aims to support projects that start school-based health centers to provide primary and preventative health services and related services to school-age children or that expand services to include dental or mental health care in existing school-based centers.
Approximately $250,000 is expected to be available to fund two contracts. Each contract will not exceed $125,000. Eligible applicants include Texas school districts, charter schools, and school district cooperatives.
