The Kimball Foundation provides opportunities for at-risk and disadvantaged individuals in the Bay Area to improve the quality of their lives and reach their highest potential. The Kimball Foundation focuses on academic and cultural enrichment, environmental education and vocational development. The primary purpose of this funding opportunity is to support organizations that have a one-time emergency need, or to help organizations pilot a new program.
Awards of $10,000 will be available. Organizations serving the residents of San Francisco, Marin, San Mateo and Sonoma Counties, and to a limited extent Santa Clara County, as far south as Palo Alto are eligible to apply.

Please note: The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) does not administer this funding opportunity.
