Youth Service America – STEMester of Service Grants (Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, and Washington

Youth Service America is looking to implement a program to support middle school teachers and service-learning coordinators to strengthen classroom practices with service-learning projects. Also, Youth Service America will pay particular attention to projects that connect students to their schools and communities. The grants target students from disadvantaged circumstances in states with the highest dropout rates in the nation.

Selected applicants will receive $5,000 for teachers or service-learning coordinators with $1,000 being applied directly toward travel for professional development. Eligible applicants include teachers, administrators, and service-learning coordinators in middle schools and staff and service-learning coordinators in afterschool programs.
