U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration -- Ryan White CARE Act Grants

The U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration’s Ryan White CARE Act authorizes grants for outpatient and ambulatory health and support services to Eligible Metropolitan Areas (EMAs) and transitional grant areas. These grants fund systems of community-based care, including medical and other health and social support services, for individuals with HIV/AIDS in EMAs. These services are intended primarily for low income/under insured people living with HIV/AIDS.

An estimated 56 grants will be awarded out of $619,424,000 in total funding. Any public or private entites, including Indian tribes or tribal organizations and faith-based or community-based organizations, who service eligible EMA and transitional grant areas are eligible to apply for these funds.
