U.S. Department of Health and Human Services -- Research for Preventing Violence and Violence-related Injury

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is accepting applications for its Research for Preventing Violence and Violence-related Injury grant program to support research into effective injury prevention programs.

Award amounts are up to $300,000 (indirect and direct costs) for the first 12-month budget period. Eligible applicants include public and private nonprofit organizations; small, minority, and women-owned businesses; universities; colleges; research institutions; hospitals, community- and faith-based organizations; Tribal organizations; State and local governments; and political subdivisions (in consultation with States).

Deadline: February 15, 2008
