National Institute of Justice - Research and Evaluation on Children Exposed to Family Violence
The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is seeking multidisciplinary research and evaluation proposals related to childhood exposure to family violence and the impact of domestic violence on child custody decisions, and how these child custody issues in the context of a family with a history of domestic violence may impact the safety of families and children. Specifically, NIJ seeks applications that address interventions; justice system responses; and child development, coping and resilience.

Award amounts vary. Eligible applicants include states and territories, local governments and federally-recognized Indian tribal governments, nonprofit and for profit organizations, and institutions of higher education.
