All-America Rose Selections -- “Remember Me” Rose School Garden Awards

All-America Rose Selections is accepting applications for its “Remember Me” Rose School Garden Awards program. The purpose of the program is to increase fair and peaceful solutions to conflict through funding September 11, 2001 memorial gardens created by youth as part of their school or community organization’s conflict resolution and mediation skill development activities.

Award amounts are 15-20 bare-root rose bushes (valued at about $600) and educational materials from the National Gardening Association (NGA). Eligible applicants include schools or community organizations in the United States who plan to garden with at least 15 children ages 3-18 in 2008, and who are not employees of All-America Rose Selections or the NGA.

Deadline: December 15, 2007

Please Note: The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) does not administer this funding opportunity.
