Aetna Foundation -- Regional Community Health Grants (AZ, CA, IL, KS, NV, NJ, NY, OR, UT, WA)

The Aetna Foundation is accepting applications for its Regional Community Health Grants program to support community-based initiatives improving access to quality health care and overall wellness for early diagnosis, treatment, and management of depression and/or diabetes through at least one of the following: expansion of the primary caregiver role; community care delivery; school-based implementation; integrated care delivery, enhancing access to health information; delivery of culturally sensitive care; and/or increasing racial and ethnic health equality.

Award amounts are $25,000-$50,000 for up to one year. Eligible applicants are IRS 501(c)(3) and de facto tax-exempt nonprofit organizations.

Deadline: May 15, 2008
