Textron Corporate Giving -- Quality of Life Grants (Rhode Island)
Textron’s Corporate Giving program focuses on improving the quality of life in communities were Textron employees work. Areas of giving include enrichment and mentoring programs for youth (ex: quality after-school programs and youth development programs), community revitalization (ex: affordable housing and economic development in low-income areas), and health and human service organizations (ex: food pantries, homeless shelters, health education and services for low-income residents).
Award amounts vary. Organizations must have 501(c)3 tax-exempt public charity status as defined by the Internal Revenue Service and be located in Rhode Island.
Deadline: March 1, 2009
