The purpose of this funding is to support efforts to produce evidence that can inform public health practice and policy decisions by comparing systems with change in organizational structures, legal infrastructure, financing mechanisms, and service delivery strategies to systems without changes.
Up to seven grants of approximately $200,000 will be awarded to select applicants for a two-year period. Public entities, nonprofit organizations, and academic institutions that are tax exempt are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to proposals submitted by public health agencies, nonprofit organizations that work in concert with such agencies, and proposals that involve multidisciplinary teams.
