Fiskars -- Project Orange Thumb

Project Orange Thumb encourages creative expression in gardening by providing grants to efforts geared toward sustainable agriculture, neighborhood beautification and community involvement.

Up to 20 organizations will be given $1500 in Fiskars gardening tools and $800 for gardening-related materials (i.e. seeds, soil, etc.) Eligible organizations include schools, community garden groups, youth groups, camps, clubs, treatment facilities, community centers and community garden groups.

Deadline: February 17, 2009

Please Note: The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools (CHHCS) does not administer this funding opportunity.
