Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration, Center for Mental Health Services – Project LAUNCH Grants
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services invites proposals for Project LAUNCH. The purpose of this program is to address the wellness needs of children ages birth to eight years through a systematic community planning process. The program defines wellness as optimal functioning across all developmental domains: physical, social, behavioral, emotional, and cognitive health. The goal of the program is to provide a safe environment for children to grow and enter school ready to learn and able to succeed. Proposed projects must utilize evidence-based or best practices in prevention.
$3.9 million is available for six grants of up to $650,000 each. Public and private nonprofits are eligible to apply.
