Play With Your Produce Classroom Challenge

Produce for Kids (PFK) strives to educate families about the benefits of healthy eating. The purpose of the Play With Your Produce Classroom Challenge is to encourage kids to eat the U.S. Department of Agriculture recommended serving of fruits and vegetables every day. PFK is challenging classrooms to track their students’ healthy eating and compete with other classrooms across the country for cash rewards.

The three winning classrooms will receive $1,000 (first place), $750 (second place), or $500 (third place). Kindergarten through sixth grade classrooms as well as home school and afterschool programs are eligible to participate.

Deadline: October 30, 2011
