U.S. Department of Justice – Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) FY 09 Gang Prevention Coordination Assistance Grant Program
The U.S. Department of Justice recognizes that youth gangs continue to have a significant adverse influence on youth, families and whole communities. The OJJDP FY 2009 Gang Prevention Coordination Assistance Program awards funding to localities in order to improve coordination of local, state and Federal resources for prevention, gang intervention and gang enforcement.
Twelve awards of up to $200,000 each will be granted to eligible applicants over a two-year period. Public agencies, private organizations (including faith-based and community organizations) and American Indian and Alaska Native Tribes and Tribal Organizations are eligible to apply.
Deadline: March 4, 2009
