Norman Foundation -- Civil Rights Grants
The Norman Foundation is accepting applications for its Civil Rights grants program to support projects that promote public education equity, particularly that involve parent and youth organizing.
Award amounts are unspecified; in 2005 and 2006 amounts awarded were either $15,000 or $20,000. Eligible applicants must be U.S-based organizations, and must not be a university or a direct social service program such as a shelter or a community health program.
Deadline: July 17, 2007 (Letter of Inquiry)
