The Next Generation Nutrition Program seeks applicants to promote nutrition education to nurture healthy eating habits among children- including the consumption of low-fat yogurt in also to serve communities where Dannon facilities are located.
Dannon Next Generation Nutrition Grants Program will award four nonprofits up to $30,000 that promote healthy eating and support nutrition education for children within four communities. Four communities are Salt Lake City, Utah; Tarrant County; Texas; Westchester County, N.Y.; and Shelby, Mercer, Darke and Auglaize counties in Ohio. Qualification include organizations that must need funding for a current nutrition education program for children up to age 18 or be able to launch such an initiative by late 2011. Also, organizations must be designated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
