Bank of America – Neighborhood Builders

The Bank of America’s Neighborhood Builders Program is now accepting applications from non-profits addressing neighborhood needs and priorities. Neighborhood Builders recipients will receive $200,000 in general operation support over a two-year period. Selected applicants will also have access to leadership development programs by senior executives to cover strategic thinking, business planning, leadership develop, long-term growth and building a diverse funding base. Also, emerging leaders will gather for three 4-day workshops to discuss developing organizational management skills, managing strategic opportunities and building communities.

Eligible applicants must be nonprofit organizations that are tax-exempt by the International Revenue Service and are not classified as private foundations. Applying organizations must also be based and serve communities in Neighborhood Excellence Initiative markets as listed on the website (link below).

Deadline: June 30, 2009
