The purpose of this funding opportunity is to establish a national training and technical assistance center that will advance the application of promising and evidence-based truancy prevention and intervention strategies and programs. The center will accomplish its mission through training and technical assistance, information dissemination, collaboration with researchers and program developers, and partnerships with federal, state, and local agencies.
The 5-year project period will be funded with an initial award of $400,000. Eligible entities include states, units of local government, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, and institutions of higher education.
