National Institutes of Health -- Secondary Data Analyses Based on the NICHD Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development

The National Institutes of Health is accepting applications for its Secondary Data Analyses Based on the NICHD Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development grant program. The purpose of the program is to support use by scientists, psychologists, sociologists, economists, statisticians, educators, policy makers, and physician scientists of the data collected by the NICHD in their Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development in further investigations on family, child care, school, and child development.

Awards amounts will vary; applicants can submit budgets of up to two $25,000 modules per year for up to two years, including funding for commensurate facilities and administrative costs. Eligible applicants include, but are not limited to, scientists, psychologists, sociologists, economists, statisticians, educators, policy makers, and physician scientists at for-profit and nonprofit organizations, public or private institutions, units of state government, faith-based or community-based organizations; individual members of the NICHD Early Child Care Research Network, the research team that designed and implemented the study, are eligible to apply.
