U.S. Department of Health and Human Services – Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Expansion
The Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Head Start, is accepting applications from existing federally funded Migrant and Seasonal Head Start agencies. In particular, ACF will provide training and technical assistance funds that improve Head Start service provision to underserved children and families and to expand enrollment by approximately 1,200 low-income children and their families.
An estimated $10 million will be available for project funding. An expected 20 awards will be granted an average of $500,000 per budget period. The ceiling for any award will be $5 million. Eligible applicants include current Federally-funded Migrant and Seasonal Head Start agencies.
